AW3225QF Dolby Atmos Requires a monitor reboot when booting into Windows
Hello all,
description pretty much says it. I can get Dolby Atmos to work via eARC with my soundbar plugged into HDMI 1 in the monitor. However on first boot after an extended period with the computer off I get no sound unless I turn the monitor off and then on again. Not even a reset of the EDID handshake using the EDIDResetTool makes it work. I have to turn the monitor off and then on again, after that everything works fine with Dolby Atmos. To note a restart of windows does not trigger this behavior, only a prolonged period when the computer has been off triggers this.
I know that compatibility with eARC has been known to be finicky with this monitor but this behavior is very odd.
I am on FW M2B109, this issue existed on previous FW as well.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....
