AW2725DF, very specific doubts
I hope some owner of this AW2725DF can answer these questions:
1 - When I plug the monitor to wall outlet, will it automatically turn on WITHOUT the need to press the physical power button?
2 - Can I execute "pixel refresh" and "panel refresh" using some software, or it's only possible by using the physical OSD buttons?
3 - When monitor reaches the needed time to execute "pixel refresh" or "panel refresh", will it execute automatically WITHOUT the need to confirm anything using a physical button?
4 - Lets suppose monitor reaches 9000 hours about when I'm going to sleep, so "panel refresh" will execute. Can I turn off monitor from wall outlet so it will execute the next time I turn it on? (I don't pretend to let the monitor on whole night as there's no point in doing that)
In short, first three questions are because I've never used ANY physical button at all in my ASUS pg279q after initial setup, so no risk of button break.
Thanks!

1. No.
2. Not that I ama ware off, it's OSD only.
3. If it would do that automatically your screen will turn off as you cannot do it with the screen "live". It will use the OSD for a popup rather than just starting a refresh and turn the screen off on you while you are in the middle of using it.
4. It's not recommended to turn of power to the monitor while it's performing the pixel or panel refresh by unplugging it from the power socket.
Unplugging a monitor from the wall socket each time can have adverse effects on the electronics as it will cool down and have to warm up again. It is recommended to just let it go into standby low power mode. My 34" OLED uses less than 1 Watt of power when in standby mode, and I never unplug it from the power socket.

About this:
If I turn the computer off, and monitor goes to standby mode, will it start the automatic procedure, or I am forced to confirm something in OSD before the monitor can do the automatic refresh?
About this:
I don't mean unplugging monitor from wall outlet in the middle of automatic refresh, but unplugging it before automatic refresh starts, while screen is still on. Will it then perform the refresh next time I turn it on?

It's a popup I believe every 4 hours of use. You can set it to automatically perform the refresh after 4 or more hours of use when it goes into standby mode.
I would not suggest unplugging a screen from the wall socket while it's still on. If you really insist on unplugging it from the wall socket I would only do so if the screen is turned off. But once you are at your 4 hours or more that will make it start the refresh cycle. Either starts when the monitor is in stand-by mode, or when you press the monitor's power button to turn the monitor off.
So the only way to unplug the monitor before it starts the refresh on it's own, would be to jank the power cord out while it's still on. And again, I highly recommend against doing that.
Page 65/66 of the manual explains both refresh cycles.
