AW2725DF, grays/blacks flickering on Nintendo Switch, very noticeable
I have been using the AW2725DF for 2 weeks now, and the monitor is amazing. By far the best monitor I have ever used.
However, when I connected my Nintendo Switch to the monitor via HDMI, I noticed a frantic flickering on the monitor around the sides. I went into a game, and it was still present, especially in darker areas. I went to change the cables and even tried a different system, but the flickering still remains. I read online that VRR can cause this flicker, but the Switch does not support VRR so as far as I understand, this shouldn't be the issue.
Is anyone else with an AW2725DF having this issue on consoles? Is there a fix?

I've created a topic about a problem I'm having that might be related to yours. Take a look:
aw2725df-random-white-flash-60hz
Does switch supports refresh rates greater than 60hz? If yes, you could try to increase refresh rate.
I'm suspecting this monitor will display flicker randomly (it shows a "white flash") if any fluctuation in refresh rates occur when it's running at 60HZ. Maybe switch can't keep 60hz steadly?

@Nemo Supir I did some testing earlier today, and I am pretty confident that when the flicker happens on PC, it is VRR flicker. However, that would not explain it flickering on consoles, when the home menu is a consistent frame rate, yet it still flickers.

@qwerp The topic I've told you earlier is also about flickering at a fixed refresh rate case (when G-SYNC is off). Of course, it might be a different problem, but it's not the so-called "VRR flicker", as G-SYNC is OFF here and the problem happens.
However, judging by your description, it looks like a more severe problem than mine. In my case, there's a "white flash" that happens randomly anywhere. Again, with G-SYNC disabled.
My guess is refresh rate is dropping VERY slighty at times, and when it happens, screen flashes. Now imagine I'm having this problem with RTX 4080, 128GB RAM and i9 9900k.
Now imagine switch, with a slower hardware, and being a battery-powered device........
It might as well not be able to sustain a steady screen's refresh rate (not speaking about application frame rate, but screen refresh rate).
The only thing you can be sure is: if screen refresh rate drops by any reason, it will flicker.
