Is the unknown PC on/active mode when this happens?
What is the unknown PC operating system, video card?
How is the AW2725DF connected to the unknown PC using which cable and ports?

The BID Screen Test (page 88) shows gray, red, green, blue, black, white.

Perform a build in diagnostic as per page 88 of the manual.

Unplug all cables except the power cable from the monitor when performing this test.

That sounds like the service center FSM (Factory Service Menu) BurnIn mode has somehow been turned on? Was anyone there in the FSM? Was there a power outage while the AW2725DF was turned on?

I just started experiencing this also, just got back home and turned on my PC just to find my monitor constantly cycling colors as if it was doing a dead pixel test, I've updated my drivers, AW command center, and did a windows update. I'm running a rtx 4080 and using windows 11. A lot of what a read ended up with customers asking for an RMA. Don't really wish to go this route if at all possible.

@Drake_R Did you end up RMAing the monitor? It's been working perfectly for me other than this one boot up and i love this monitor, so im a little concerned.

any solution for this? I had the same problem when turning on the monitor from standby just now. Turned off the power and turn back on solved the problem for me but I am worry about future occurence.

Some monitors run into this issue. Last year I had to return the monitor after verifying with the support rep that the monitor was indeed not working as intended and get a refurbished one because it had been outside the 30 or 90 day limit for a brand new one.

@coffeerun  I had to end up returning mine and get a replacement from DELL.

A basic troubleshoot to this is to complete a power cycle. Which basically means. Turn off the monitor and unplug all the cables from it. Let it sit for 30 mins and connect the cables back and turn on. It should fix the issue for you. If not, return/replacement is the only option.
