AW2725DF, extremely faint coil whine
I recently purchased a new aw2725df monitor and i recently did an exchange. i currently have 2 of the same monitors but will be returning one. i did not realize this at first but when the monitor is off and if i put my ear right against the back of the monitor i can hear this faint coil whine/buzz. i found this on the new monitor and tested this on the original and it was also there. however it is extremely faint where when gaming i can never hear it and only happens when the monitor is off. is this normal?

All electronic devices generate electrostatic noise also known as coil whine. Dell declares monitor noise levels may go up to 31 dB (decibels). The closest you should ever be to a monitor is 20"/50 cm as shown in the monitor User's Guide =

Yes that is how i am sitting. Just wanted to make sure if the noise is normal. i did notice when even putting my ear by the monitors screen the noise is inaudible only when i put my ear on the back by the fan
