AW2725DF, artifacts or smearing in dark areas

Hello,

I've bought this monitor a few months ago and I have had this problem since the beginning. Very ugly and noticeable artifacts and smears in dark areas. I can't find anything online on how to fix this or even other pictures of it so I'm assuming it's either very rare or my monitor is just bad/broken. If we assume it's just a settings problem, what would you recommend to try and fix it? It's really bothering me.

Also a note, it looks way worse on the pictures than in reallity, but it's still very noticable, almost like theres a screen in front of the panel.
