AW2724DM, not displaying anything
I've just bought a new monitor (Alienware AW2724DM) and when I try to plug it into my laptop (ASUS TUF F15 FX506LU-HN122) the monitor doesn't receives any signal "No DP1 signal from your device" (text shown on monitor). I'm using a USB-C cable to DP and yes my laptop is DP ALT MODE compatible. I've checked the cable with another laptop and another monitor and it works perfectly. Do you know what can cause the problem?

To narrow down the issue with the AW monitor or with the Asus laptop, connect the other laptop to the AW monitor for testing.

Only thing that comes to mind is that the USB-C port is not video compatible.
There should be a symbol on it to show it's capabilities.
