Aurora R9, Wireless Adapter Card QCA61x4a 802.11ac (M.2) Replacement Help
My 2nd. wifi, blue tooth card has failed . The first one was replaced under warranty 02/23. It just failed and warranty expired. So....I have to replace but would like to upgrade it to a wifi 6 card. Unfortunately, I am a novice when it comes to all the jargon. I can do the swap, I just don't know which card to buy. I was looking at:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B4T696W5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
But am unsure if this would be the correct replacement. Any help would be awesome.

I have an R9. the other concern I have (and forgot to add) , is the size of the card critical. The card the tech replaced is larger than the one I linked to, and if I remember correctly, it had a "snap in" or "screw down" holder.
And yes, I have a compatible router: Asus RT-AXE7800 Tri-Band WiFi 6E.
How rude of me...Thank you so much for all your help. I was feeling like I was alone in this endeavor. I contacted Dell support, and they told me "it wasn't their policy" to Help customers give suggestions on hardware replacements.

Since you have USB 3.1 GEN 1 and 2 ports, the easiest and most versatile is to get a USB WiFi adaptor.
Would just plug it in, install driver and good to go. No need to open your case.
WiFi USB Adaptor
Just get a WiFi 6 one for $30 and you are all set. I would get one with a few antenna's on it, but they will all work well.

@redxps630
So the card the service tec replaced is the same size as the one (laptop) I posted the link to, I thought it was a little longer....You're the expert, so I will defer to your advice..
I will let you know how it goes after I receive the card and install it.
Again, Thank you..I truly appreciate your help.

I Installed the card today, all went well with one caveat. The card I replaced had the white triangle marked Main and the black marked AUX. This was reversed on the new card. I looked on the Dell website and they have the white wire as being the Main. So I attached it to the black triangle and the black to the white. 2.4g, 5g and 6g all appear, however, when I switched my phone to the 6g and walked outside the signal was very weak...So, tomorrow, I will switch the antenna wires the way their marked..
Thank you for all your help, I much appreciate it...
