Aurora R9, AWCC Installation Manager keeps unsuccessfully attempting to install
Recently upgraded my AWCC to WIN_5.5.23.0_A00. After install and reboot, every 15 minutes or so, the AWCC Installation Manager pop-up (AWCC Toast notifyer) displays "Initiating Install" and stops at 11%.
I removed AWCC via REVO Uninstaller, rebooted and performed a fresh install of AWCC using the full software package download (Alienware-Command-Center-Application_7NNR0_WIN_5.5.26.0_A00 1.1GB). Followed all instructions and rebooted and yet I still received the same pop-up.
I also attempted a search of missing components via Alienware Update App. It gave me an update (the same one already installed). Updated again and still get the pop-up - it's becoming quite annoying. There does not appear to be any missing components as AWCC opens normally. Is anyone able to assist with resolving this issue. The constant pop-ups are impacting use when I am using other software. I have also tried disabling the pop-up via Notifications and Actions but it keeps adding a new notification which I have to turn off.
I saved the Toast notifyer log file (below) but I don't know what I'm meant to be looking for. Is anyone able to assist?

Well, after countless uninstalls and reinstalls since the latest AWCC update 2 weeks ago, I finally just gave up and left the PC alone for 2 days without touching it. Whatever it did it has rectified itself and I received "Installation Complete" (which I'd never received before). At the moment I haven't received any Install prompts but will provide an update should this happen again. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

That should work. Did you Unblock the downloaded file and double-check the MD5 ?
Try another clean-install, but disconnect from the internet first. After installing and rebooting, uncheck/disable the "allow updates" option, before re-connecting to network.

Thanks for your reply Tesla and trying to help me. I'm a bit of noob and very limited PC skills with this, so please forgive me for the following : I don't know what you mean by "Did you Unblock the downloaded file and double-check the MD5 ?" I think this is a bit above my head to be able to action as I have no idea what this means . Is it really important?
Where you state "uncheck/disable the "allow updates" option", where do I find this? I looked in AWCC and couldn't find anything.
Interesting side note - the AWCC Installation Manager finally after a couple of hours popped up with "Installation Complete" . Tried opening AWCC (where it previously opened normally with all components being able to access) and then an error came up being unable to find "FX". I restarted PC and am able to access all parts of AWCC again with no errors when opening the program, however, I am back to square one again with the AWCC Installation Manager Pop-ups every 15mins and hanging installation status at 14%...
Thanks for your help and advice. Appreciate it.

It has been doing this on my laptop for weeks. I just ignore it. In my opinion the software supplied with these systems needs better testing and support

As for MD5/SHA checking, you download a utility to do that.
2. If available on your version, it's usually inside the program or by clicking on one of the AW-CC icons in the TaskTray.

When using revo make sure you uninstall both the uninstaller and windows app tab section listing.
Another pain in the neck for me is in support assist program settings section >>> automate scans and opts ( auto updates drivers etc.) and notifications ... I turned those off. The alienware update program kept telling me that awcc needed update... but actually was installed and updated, finally got rid of that.
(Support assist is always running as a service in the background and may try to do the updates and send you notifications)
A lot of awcc programs and add-ons are located in the windows apps section...so... make sure you update all these from the windows store.

A few days ago I'd 53 folders in Windows/temp with AWCC toast in them. Deleted them all. Today I have 4 folders with AWCC toast in them. I'd removed AWCC with Revo but it still comes back.
