Aurora R7, Windows 11, Alienware Control Center will not install, #2
Hi all. If you upgrading to Windows 11 on the Alienware R7 for some reason they do not have the driver for the command center because they claim it is not supported. If you download the one from the R6 with the file name Alienware-Command-Center-for-Desktop_0PWM6_WIN64_4.8.23.0_A00_02 it works with no problem. Took me days to figure this out. Good luck.

good to know. Dell Chris M said R7 user was able to use R6 AWCC

AWCC deleted from R7 driver by accident and Dell would not fix it

Ser223,
Question on your AW R7, what specific system do you have? Aurora? Reason I'm asking is because if its an Aurora R7, Windows 11 is not supported.

I ran into the exact same issue. I understand that Windows 11 isn't supported. I wasn't graced with the question on whether or not to upgrade but instead my wife was and she hit yes. So now I'm stuck with it. After having to install a new clean Windows 11 due to drivers getting corrupted and causing BSOD, I could not find the AWCC. Just installed the one for the R6 and all controls are back. You are a savior.

I spent about 2 hours messing with AWCC last night. Definitely found out that the current version has some issues when attempting to install the full 1.1G package.
(Alienware-Command-Center-Full-Installer_880VH_WIN_5.9.2.0_A00.EXE)
I had to install (over the top of 5.9.2) a previous version (Alienware-Command-Center-Full-Installer_880VH_WIN_5.7.3.0_A00.EXE), then uninstall it. Then 5.9.2 would finally uninstall clean. I reinstalled 5.7.3 and then upgraded back to 5.9.2 (using the incremental update) and now finally all controls work. However, just like in the past, if/when you restart, upon getting back into windows AWCC takes some time to kick in the FX services. Even with a i9 Intel CPU, 64G, SSD, it took at least a min for AWCC to finally (and completely) engage then magically the FX section appeared in AWCC.
