Aurora R7, compatible with GeForce RTX 3070 Ti?
Hello,
I was given a GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Vision OC 8G Graphics Card, WINDFORCE 3X Cooling System, 8GB 256-bit GDDR6X, GV-N307TVISION OC-8GD Video Card for basically free. I currently have an R7 with an 850W EPA Bronze PSU Liquid Coo led Chassis. Would this card be an option for my R7 and worth installing? Cheers

@redxps630 Thank you for the response! I am being told on another form that this card will not fit. Would there be a way to confirm this?

@redxps630 According to my specs, max GPU length is 10.5". This 3070ti is 12.5", sadly.

yeah 320 mm seems too long to fit. not sure how user uploaded benchmark with that GA gpu.

@redxps630 I do see that the 3060 Ti fits. I am assuming there shouldn't be an issue with this card?

it all depends on length of individual model. higher power gpu may sometimes be longer than lower one.

@redxps630 Sorry, this isn't my forte. You were able to find a benchmark for the 3070ti which looked good, but sadly doesn't fit. Could you find a benchmark for this card to see if it is worth the upgrade to my R7? I tried but couldnt find one.

@slysim
This is the benchmark site I always use for GPU's and CPU's you can do a side by side comparison.

Bummer on the 3070 being to long, but if you were going to get a 3060Ti I would think on getting the RTX 2080Ti (I know its older but it spanks the 3060Ti) I've had the EVGA 2080Ti in my R7 for like 4 years. It handles anything I throw at it, and I game 90% of the time on it besides it being hooked up to my LG OLED 65 inch for my monitor. :)

I do not think OP needs to be overconcerned. if one GA model works, the other GA too.
the list is long if one has to peruse all the models

Is the i7-8500k upgradable? Im assuming a 3070ti would bottleneck CPU?
