Aurora R16, whining sound
Just received my rig two days ago. Intel i9, 64GB Ram, RTX 4090, 1,000W PSU with 240 liquid cooler. Was super pumped when it arrived. However...after finally installing two games, MSFS and Call of Duty Black Ops 6 I ran into an issue. As soon as the game starts, I get this awful whining/buzzing noise. It sounds to me like it's coming from the PSU. It only seems to do it when it's under a heavy load. As soon as I close the game, or even just get into the main menu in Black Ops 6, the noise completely stops. Go back in and it whines again. It is so annoying and disappointing for a $3,500 PC. I've had many Dell PC's and am coming from an Aurora R13. I had absolutely no issues with that one and ran the exact same games on it. I KNOW there is something wrong with it. I'm just super bummed that I now have to go through the whole technical support runaround. Either they send someone to fix it or this thing is going back. Anyone else have a similar issue?

With any new system that doesn't function satisfactorily, return it for a refund.

Sounds like coil whine. It's technically speaking not a defect but can be annoying.
If you purchased this system directly from Dell I would speak with a Dell agent by pressing the get help now button in the lower right corner of this screen.

I've put in a service ticket on it. I'm currently at work so will call once I get home. Not happy to say the least. If they say this sound is "normal", this thing is going back. I can get another PC with similar specs for the same money somewhere else. I have an R13 that has worked flawlessly since Day 1. Played the same games on it and never got a noise like this.
