Aurora R16, Valorant crashing issues

Alienware Aurora R16

Alienware Aurora R16

I used to play Valorant a year or two back on an HP laptop with no issues. Recently I've tried playing on an Alienware Aurora R16, but I've had issues that make the game essentially impossible to play for me and are impacting the usability of my PC as a whole. I'm not sure if it's normal to post problems relating to specific games but I've already tried looking for solutions with Riot Support and Reddit with no responses so far.

Every time I try to launch Valorant, this sequence of events happens:

- Try to launch game from Riot Client, but it tells me I need to restart my PC before I can play.

- Restart PC, now have the option to launch Valorant

- If I try to launch it, my PC will crash immediately OR I'll actually be able to go into the game and it works normally for a little bit before crashing

-BSOD with this info:

Stop code: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONAGED_AREA

What failed: vgk.sys

- Have to restart my PC, and sometimes but not every time I will get a second BSOD immediately after the restart is completed

- My PC also tends to BSOD randomly even when I'm not trying to run Valorant, which has only started happening after I installed it

What I've tried so far

-Installation and re-installation of VALORANT and Vanguard

-Disabling third-party antivirus

-Resetting game data

-Using system file checker

-Resetting my PC

After doing some research it seems like the way to fix the problem has to do with changing my system's BIOS settings, but because my PC has a custom motherboard, looking for ways to do that has been very unhelpful. For my PC specifically, what steps can I take to solve this issue using BIOS or another method?
