@raulbean try clearing CMOS by holding in the power button for 30 seconds.

@raulbean , do you have 12th gen processor? See memory configurations supported table below and noted that memory will run at the speed the processor is rated for.

@Chino de Oro Appreciate you helping out, I have the 14th Gen 14700f. It says it's compatible with 2x16Gb DDR5 5600Mt/s. Which is the same as listed as the ones the guy linked above I have swapped the stock RAM but its capped at 4800Mt/s. Im unable to modify it in bios as overclocking settings appear to be locked in disabled and theres no option in Alienware Command Center.

Users report that Crucial Pro RAM kit ran at 5600 for them. Check with Crucial support for walk through configurations although it should be plug and play.
Otherwise, use the link to Wiki and verify part number for support RAM while shopping.

@raulbean Where are you seeing 4800, in the BIOS or CPU-Z or? You are using the 32GB 1.1v kit correct?

@irsh_ BIOS and Task manager display the RAM at 4800MT/s same exact Crucial Pro 32GB 5600Mt’s was purchased.
spoke with a dell rep and apparently due to my cpu im not able to enable the overclocking settings to turn on Xmp which seems very dumb even. They are telling me I need RAM with base speed of 5600 without the need of XMP since I canr enable it.
what build do you have?
