Aurora R16, HyperX Cloud III headset, mic issue
I have the HyperX Cloud III headset. When I connect to the headset jack in the front of my Alienware Aurora R16 desk top, I am unable to use the microphone attached to the headset. How can I fix this?

On most of Dell universal audio port if not all, users must select on the popup box to confirm the audio device that was plugged in. On Alienware, the audio input device may be set by AWCC.

Test the wireless dongle on the Aurora R16 rear ports.

@DELL-Chris M
It’s a wired headset. Not wireless and looks like the head phone jack is in the front of the tower and the mic jack is in the back of the tower…

@Kfratto It's both wired and wireless.
This Headset features Multi-Platform Connectivity: 3.5mm from the headset and additional USB-C and USB-A options via the included USB dongle.
Using the Dongle is much easier as it removes the cable from the equation.
