Aurora R16, Geforce 5080, constant video freezing
Whether watching video in Chrome or Edge or being on a video Teams call, video freezes within 5-15 minutes. In the case of Chrome and Edge, grabbing the window and moving it resumes video. In the case of Teams, I have to quit the meeting and re-join.
It's a 2-week-old system, Windows 11 Pro, fully up to date on updates, fully current on Dell drivers/bios/firmware, on the latest Geforce drivers (gaming version). Vanilla build, no unique software, default settings across the board.
As this issue seems to transcend 3 different programs, I'm concerned that I may have a faulty video card. Anyone else experiencing these symptoms? If not I'll open a support case.

Stevehart - Any progress on this? I have similar issues that are driving me crazy. New machine and the issues come in one of three programs, depending on what I am doing - Outlook, Chrome, and Evernote. Happens overnight when the machine is on but not being used. I had some suspicions about the mouse, but changing that made no difference. Thx. Michael

Sadly no. I’m hoping a driver update will fix it since it really feels driver related. But deep down I expect it’s hardware. And given that the computer passes the diagnostics, the battle with Dell to get the video card replaced will be substantial. I speak from experience.
so I’ll hold out hope for a while. Eventually give up and replace it.
