Aurora R15, Youtube audio out of sync with video every time I update. Why?
Why? Every time, I reinstall graphics driver, and still out of sync audio. Can you Dell people after years and years finally figure out how to prevent this from happening? In my whole life of computer, I never had so much from a compute then this R16 from which I spent the most money on a computer in my life. Come on now, I am losing my patience big time. Why is this happening? This r16 been a nightmare with that processor too.

I apologize for the bad language in my post last night, I had a few beers and I blew my patience trying to fix it.

This has been a constant problem with updates, from Alienware and sometimes when google chrome or video card is not updated right away.
But after this last update I could not fix it until now.
I unchecked the Enable Audio Enhancements, in the speakers properties in the control panel sound menu.
And it seemed to work, audio stayed in sync when before it would go out pretty quickly.
I then rechecked it to see if still would work and it does work so far. At least I have another option to try.

The audio driver last updated 2022, maybe we need a new audio driver, and that is why these problems persist.
Realtek.

This is actually for a R15 not 16.
Ok so when I restart computer I have the same problem, audio is out of sync with video.
I uncheck Enable Audio enhancements, hit apply and its fixed, I can then check it back and apply and it still works.
So the problem devs for the next up date is in the launching code for the audio driver. If you can fix this for the next up date would be nice, so I do not have to do this every time I have to restart my computer. That is every day because my computer never has been able to go to sleep.

@OmegaOm
Have you tried updating the driver from Realtek directly?

@John1701 says you have to get driver from here, and I reinstalled it, and nothing works.
Why do not the mods of this forum, help. They want you to pay for support. But you guys my comp with with your bios update you should fix it. I finally had money to buy a nice computer after having all my life. and I get with a corrupt cpu, a computer that doesnt sleep, and has sound issues every time there is an update.

The only way I can help is Sleep might be disabled in BIOS. It's under Power Management. All one has to do is uncheck Disable Sleep and Sleep works again. Power Management may also have other sleep options, like Deep Sleep.
