Aurora R15, virtualization based security, turn off?

how to turn off virtualization based security?

How to turn off virtualization based security? I looked in the BIOS and no virtualization setting in there?

@DELL-ChrisM2​ Dell Alienware R15 bought it in 2024 I think Intel Core i9 13900kf 32 gig of mem

The online Aurora R15 Service Manual PDF mentions Virtualization on page 103, System setup options-- Advanced menu. The Default is Enabled. Are you saying that you cannot Disable this?

@ToBorNot2b​ i have core isolation all turned off thats suppose to turn of Virtulization all the hyper v stuff is disableed

i've typed from the command promt as admin bcedit /set hypervisor;aunchtype off went into the registry editor EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity vaule to 0 i did still on after multiple reboots

Yes, I can not disable virtualization no BIOS setting. Going through Windows 11 security and turn thing off has not done it neither. I tried the registry no luck its stuck to on.

i read something on the net. It says Alienware is a gaming machine so virtualization setting will not show in the BIOS since its a gaming machine?

I have seen this in previous Aurora desktops. The setting is on by default with no way to turn it off due to there being no BIOS menu for it being made available.
