Aurora R15, two Ethernet connections. Network aggregation or fall over

Hi, I have an Aurora R15 that I've got two Ethernet connections up at the same time.  I have the onboard 2.5 GbE connected at 2.5Gbe and an additional 10GbE adapter that I installed myself.  Both are up and running and connected.

My question is will the two connections aggregate by themselves to increase throughput and, if one of the adapters or connections fail, will the networking continue to work and switch over completely to the one that remains active and connected?

Thanks for any information you may have.

You would have to aggregate and configure that at the switch they are connected to. The issue is they will aggregate at 2 x 2.5.

Fail over will also have to be configured, and you cannot fail over and aggregate at the same time.

@Vanadiel Thanks.  Since they are currently connected through an unmanaged switch, that will nix that.
