Aurora R15, Corsair 6000, XMP help

Hi! I have a Corsair 6000 mt/s ram kit I used with my Aurora R13 and I recently switched over to a Aurora R15. I had to rollback my BIOS to 1.0.4 to get the Aurora R13 to enable XMP through the BIOS with this particular kit. Unfortunately I updated the BIOS to 1.0.16 on this setup and I’m unable to rollback to an older version to re-enable this. I get a message saying rolling back is not allowed when trying to download and flash the BIOS. Does anyone have a safe work around or also have the Aurora R15 and know of a 64GB kit that I can buy that the BIOS likes already for the Aurora R15?

Rollback is not possible, and the only memory to guaranteed work is the OEM memory (up to 5600 XMP).

@Vanadiel rollback used to be possible but since a newer Bios update it isn’t any longer. Can I manually roll it back via usb or something without receiving the error? My ram used to work at the speed listed and since an update it doesn’t. So it was compatible until I trusted Dell support assist to upgrade my computer

@Tone2Filthy No, as they block rollbacks when it would cause security issues. There's no way that I am aware off to force a rollback.

@Vanadiel right on thanks for the info that’s crazy they would go back and change the BIOS to no longer let me use XMP with the ram I have that obviously works just so they can say it doesn’t and that I need to buy their overpriced Kingston ram. Guess I now know why most people shy away from buying Alienware.
