Aurora R15, can't update to BIOS 18.0.0

I had the updating problem with "version errors" when my R15 had 16.0.0. I tried so many methods to get around it (but stopped at forcing a BIOS Recovery).

Then, one day I found that 16.1.0 automatically installed itself (I had tried and failed many times). Then, 17.0.0 installed without an issue.

Now, there is a 18.0.0, SupportAssist keeps trying to install it, always fails. If I try to install manually from the file I get a new kind of version error.

I'm not sure what to do next.

To get this fix, uninstalled Windows update KB5050009 from computer, reboot and attempt BIOS update. After reboot, run Windows Update again

While I can see KB5050009 in the installed updates, there is NO option to uninstall that specific update. There are 3 I can uninstall and that is not one of them. Any other suggestions? I am having the same issue as above.
