Aurora R14 Ryzen edition, Call of Duty BO 7 problem

I got a Beta Code for the Call of Duty, I need a BIOS update to play.  My computer is not even 3 years old.  It can run 1440p at 240 frames.  I feel like, I shouldn't need to buy a new computer yet.  They always ask how can we improve, would you recommend alienware.  I guess I would, if you could come out with the update in the next 18 hours so I can play the beta tomorrow that would be great.  Alienware advertises so hard on being gamer centric.  Can we play the world's #1 first person shooter on your computers or what? Is there even a point in posting in here or is it just other people with no soultions for their problems just posting that there is no soultion to there problem? Like what's the point of these discussion posts?  Just to comfort each other on unsolvable problems?

known issue with R10 R14.  Dell has not followed up regarding bios patch.  they appear to be ignoring the user community on this issue, while they said they were listening to users on the next AW design.

it seems they need to get their acts together for better after sale support.

AMD platform is minority of Dell pc so it is even lower priority than Intel line, unfortunately.

This is why I asked if there were moderators on these forums that can help and contact Dell to let them know what is happening. I contacted Dell and said o have the latest BIOS. They need to update it.

YES BETA IS DROPPING IN 3 HOURS, LETS GO! Just kidding, can't play because i chose to go with Dell/Alienware.  LOL, I'll tell you what though, fool me once shame on you, fool twice, well you ain't going to fool me twice.  Less than 3 years old and my computer is a paper weight.

Highly unlikely you will see an update, especially since they stopped offering AMD systems.

That and the age and history of BIOS support for the R10...

<Reminder, all users who joined this Dell Forum agreed to the rules set forth in the Dell Forum Code of Conduct. See #14. DELL-Admin>

Then they can buy us all real PCs to use. Over Six grand for this thing and it didn't even come with a mouse or keyboard

@Stewart Pidasso I say what you wrote before they edited it.  It's sad they rather silence than offer any soultions.  The lesson from all this is that 1) alienware is not a good gaming pc as they do not release updates to their proprietary motherboards to play popular games 2) never buy dell because of the customer support (or lack there of)

I reached out to Dell mod.

"R10 R14 users are calling for BIOS update for TPM Patch 3.94.2.5. Dell AW BIOS team needs to give an update on whether and when this can be done."

here is her response:

"Yes, this was escalated yesterday, I'm waiting for a confirmation from the team regarding the fix."

After updating the BIOS, AMD fTPM is supposed be upgraded to 3.94.2.5.

@Vanadiel This is not true Dell put an update to the BIOS to the R10 less than a year ago which is the one that I have which is the latest. So they can and did update the BIOS recently.

It sounds like the game requires a specific BIOS update for compatibility. If Dell/Alienware hasn’t released it yet, you’ll need to wait for their official update or check support for beta BIOS versions. In the meantime, keep your drivers updated and monitor the support page closely.

@Nebula001 Yes, they do put out BIOS updates on a regular basis.

However, a BIOS contains many individual things. What is needed here is an AGESA update, which is part of the BIOS.

Dell has a long history of not updating AGESA. You can check your current AGESA version and compare against the list of available AGESA versions and see for yourself where that latest BIOS sits in term of AGESA version.

Download a small free program called CPU-Z: https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

Then Open program -> Motherboard -> BIOS version ( Your MB + BIOS version = agesa

Then compare against AGESA version list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AGESA

When you do that, you will notice how old your AGESA version is.

Feel free to post your current AGESA version here. If I am not mistaken Dell is still using version 1.0.0.2 on the R10 version 1.
