Aurora R14, Realtek 8822CE WiFi adapter problems
Hi - I am having continued issues with my Realtek 8822CE adapter which came with my Alienware Aurora R14 when purchased a few years ago. Wifi drops intermittently on random occasions. Usually on startup and I have to restart the PC a few times for it to start working. However this sometimes happens when the PC is in use.
If I were to replace this adapter, which card should I move to? Are the USB adapters good? If I were to switch to a USB adapter, would I still have to remove the adapter manually within the PC? Any advice appreciated

Hi
The best modern-day equivalent and upgrade to the Realtek 8822CE Wi-Fi card for your Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R14 is an Intel AX200 or AX210 M.2 Wi-Fi card.

USB WiFi adaptor would be plug and play without the need to do anything else besides setup the new WiFi connection.

Thanks both for the responses.
@Vanadiel - In your experience what would be a good usb wifi adapter for this machine? My Router is Sky if this makes any difference.

@PowerJam I would say any WiFi module that supports 6E WiFi would be more than sufficient.
