Aurora R13, power light blinking during sleep
Alienware Aurora R13
Is there seriously no way of turning off my power button blinking your chosen color when in sleep mode? I have tried the go dark trick in AWCC before putting the PC into sleep mode but the power light comes back on and blinks when I go into sleep mode.
I do not want a debate on whether I should be using sleep mode or shutting down as that just diverts attention away from my complaint.
Have Dell made it so you can not stop the power light blinking? If so, for what good reason?
Thank you.

Had the same problem, can't do nothing about it unfortunately.
Either block the light with a sticker or do shut down instead of sleep.
From my understanding the light blinks so the user will know the pc is still on.

I suspect the power button is blinking to indicate that the computer is in sleep mode rather than powered off. My Area-51 does not do it . . . so it must be a newer "feature".

Why can't they just show a dimmed light where the power button is to let you know it's still on. I too really hate this, it blinks in the other room yet can see the light flashes from my bedroom. It's so distracting. And shutting down / restarting when you want to use it is such a major production, not to mention you lose all your open apps and windows. They really need better UX for this computer. It's as if no one tested this in a real situation.
