Aurora R12, specs, upgrade

I need some assistance with upgrading my PC. My computer came with a Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super, but I have changed it to a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060. I have 32GB of RAM and my processor is a 11th Gen intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700F @ 2.50GHz with 8 cores. I need to be able to run GTA5/FiveM at a better FPS and also Assetto Corsa. Currently on GTA5/FiveM I average around 20-46 FPS at low graphics, and was wondering what I should grab next to upgrade my PC.

What is your PSU wattage??  Air cooled or AIO liquid cooled CPU??

RTX 4070 Ti Super if you have the PSU power. Perhaps 64GB of RAM since the R12 is stuck in Gear 2.

@ProfessorW00d I'm not sure on the PSU Wattage, I'll have to open my case up when I get a chance. But my CPU is Air Cooled. Also what do you mean the R12 is stuck in Gear 2, I've never heard that before.

@Choppmonster7   You won't be able to determine your PSU wattage by opening the case. Go to the Dell support page and put in your Service Tag to see the components with which your R12 was shipped. Stuck in Gear 2 means your RAM is gimped . . . by design.

It's hard to answer that question without knowing the resolution you play those games at.

At 1080P you have a processor bottleneck. Use tool below with a grain of salt.

This might help you.

Your current specs—RTX 3060, i7-11700F, and 32GB RAM—should easily handle GTA5/FiveM and Assetto Corsa at high settings with much better FPS, so your low performance likely points to a bottleneck elsewhere. The most probable causes are: 1) a slow or failing hard drive (HDD instead of SSD), 2) thermal throttling, or 3) power supply limitations. To upgrade smartly, first ensure you're running the games from an NVMe SSD or SATA SSD, not an HDD. If already on SSD, check your CPU/GPU temps while gaming using HWMonitor—if temps are too high, consider adding better case cooling or a CPU cooler. Also, make sure your PSU is at least 650W 80+ certified to support the RTX 3060 reliably. If all else is solid, the final upgrade path would be a better GPU like an RTX 4070, but optimize the basics first before spending big.
