Aurora R12, PSU replacement?

Hi, I have an Alienware Aurora R12, and I was wondering if I can replace the original power supply with a third-party one? Are there any compatibility issues I should be aware of, or specific requirements for the PSU? Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: if I can replace the original power supply with a third-party one? yes

when choosing ATX psu make sure it is not longer than Dell stock.  ATX psu usually specifies the width and height but length or depth can be variable.

I replaced the original OEM DELL PSU with a Seasonic Glod 1000W PSU and everything works without any problems. Look for standard ATX size.
