Aurora R12, AWCC update not compatible with Windows 11 11253
Alienware Aurora R12
Alienware unexpected error
AWCC (Alienware Command Center) Update not compatible with the latest build and will not be installed as it can't write to files in folders, so it terminates before the Application is complete. The workaround is to turn off your ransomware in Windows 11 build 25300. The newest Ransomware in Windows 11 deems the latest Alienware Command Center as suspicious software and will not allow to be upgraded.
Turning off ransomware and letting the installation complete successfully.

Spot on!
I have an Aurora R10 and was attempting to install the latest update v5.5.42 of Alienware Command Center (filename is Alienware-Command-Center-Application-Full-Installer_M74NF_WIN_5.5.42.0_A00) and it would consistently fail each time without indicating any sort of error other than to state in the installation window the process was being interupted.
Only after disabling "Controlled Folder Access" under Ransomware Protection (I'm running Windows 11 as well) was I able to finally install the AWCC update.

Probable false positive in windows defender./security..
Having a third party AV ( bitdefender) I did not have any problem installing this on my R10.
