Aurora R11, PSU replaced, no POST
Machine had power issue. owner attempted to upgrade/replace original PS. he bought the 1K watt supply with modular cables but it did not come with the cables. He grew frustrated and brought it to me. I found the cables and installed them. Upon attempting to power up, only fans spin. No other signs of life. No lights, nothing. I have disconnected everything possible and am assuming that there is a mobo issue, since there is no POST. No video at all. I have tried a different GPU, removed memory one DIMM at a time and tried completely different memory. No beeps, no lights, only fan spin. I am not familiar with this model, so am I missing anything basic here?

Not sure where you found the cables, so hopefully they are the correct cables.
Often when a system refuses to boot, remove and reinstall the coin cell battery. If that makes it come alive, a new coin cell battery will do the trick.

@Vanadiel I bought a used supply (identical to the one purchased by the owner) that came with the cables. His was purchased brand new from Dell, but didn't include cables. I assume this is because the part part is likely assumed to replace and exact original, which would have already had the cables. The challenge here is that the owner destroyed the original PS, which was only ~500 watts and had integrated cables, not the modular ones. I am working on the assumption that all 24pin main power cables are wired similarly, so replacing the 500W with 1,000W supply would actually be ok and the system should boot normally. With this assumption, I am also assuming that the mobo is bad as well, since it will not POST and shows no signs of video life at all.

@Real_Boy85 There are no LED's showing signs of life. Not on the outer case, not on the mobo itself.

@Klavant67 Some of them have aux 8 PIN power connectors that also have to got to the board. I would start with a PSU test.
PSU test.

The 8 pin connector on the mobo, above the CPU does have 8 slots on the Molex connector, but only 6 wires are present. The PS passes a Thermaltake Dr Power PS tester, which shows me all of the voltages and Power Good status. Not sure of this is as good as the BIST, but it would appear to give me way more detail. But i try not to make assumptions when it comes to manufacturers expectations. Especially when they make customized parts that have to be purchased from them. There are no power connectors on the mobo that do not have a cable, as far as I can tell. 24Pin main connector, 6wire/8pin CPU power and the two PCIE connectors going to the GPU. I dont think I am missing anything basic.
