Aurora R10, vendor lock of processor confirmed by Dell

Mod has confirmed after asking the R10 Dell team

"I heard back about the R10, it does have PSB enabled.
the processors are vendor locked"
this is true by user report for the newer R10 motherboard that supports Ryzen 5000 cpu.

Well, that is unfortunate as it provides no value to do so. I would say it actually does the opposite of providing value.

Why is Dell removing the user rights to do anything else with the components that are bought? For the user there is no benefit at all, and for the company I don't see the benefit for them either. Why would they care how I am using the processor?
