Aurora R10, Crucial 16GB 3200 MHz not working

I’ve got this Alienware Aurora R10 Ryzen edition which originally came with 2 8gb ram sticks. I went on crucial.com and ordered the rams that work with it and are compatible, two 16gb 3200 mhz ram sticks. now no matter what I do,  only 1 ram stick works at a time. I’ve tried both rams and they work perfectly. I’ve even tried to put back the original rams, again, only 1 ram stick works at a time. what do I do? The pc turns on but won’t boot to log in unless it’s 1 ram. 3 hours of trying and nothing.

For troubleshooting, test with all 4 DIMM slots, try with mismatching pair (black and white)

Because they are not compatible. Only RAM that is guaranteed to work, is the OEM RAM.

Yes, that is because  it grabbed the XMP profile from the Crucial sticks, and it will be the wrong profile.

The best way to restore it back to working order is use the original sticks in the original slots, and perform a coin cell battery removal, reinsertion to clear out the BIOS, after which it will grab the OEM XMP profile from the original sticks.

I thought a system reboot can change the profile as well.

It should, but for some reason it seems to not do that based on others reporting the same issue.
