Aurora R10, Corsair Vengeance ram configuration
My alienware R10 is running two Corsair Vengeance RGB rated for 3600 (Model:CMW32GX4M2D3600C18)
I’m trying to configure the RAM in bios to run at 3200 (or at least higher then the 2133 MT its currently stuck at) but when I tried it customizing XMP (1.35v, 3000MT) settings in bios the alienware black screened while the front LED flashed yellow. (Assuming it was a board error). Was able to fix it and boot it back into windows. I wasnt sure if this ram was compatible or not considering it is cl18. But I saw some forums were able to run RAM at 3600, 3400, and 3200. Anyone know how to configure or know if my RAM will work?

The BIOS settings are in HEX, not Decimal. You will have to convert your settings from DEC to HEX in order to get the timings correct.
Decimal to Hex convertor.

The timings are in HEX, not in DEC, if you want to manually adjust the timings to match the SPD values.
These systems are very picky when it comes to XMP support, so chances are you will have to use manual timing values to get a chance at it working.
