Aurora R10, BIOS not changing to Deployed Mode for Secure Boot

Hello, I have a issue where if I go to the bios of My Alienware R10 and try to do the deployed mode, it goes back to audit mode. This is because I need secure boot to work on windows which it does not in windows, it works in the bios not in windows. Does anyone have a solution?

I had the same issue and after some hours of trying all the stuff on the internet I just downgraded the bios from 2.10.0 to 2.8.0. (Used a USB stick with the Alienware_Aurora_Ryzen_Edition_2.8.0.exe on it, which is right for my host and used the bios update tool in the boot selection)

This allowed me to change the setting to deployed and it worked amazing because during the boot it complained about signatures, so I was sure its doing some stuff now ;)

So back to the bios. Secure boot, set custom mode = yes, reset all keys, exit and save.

Then another run into the bios to change custom mode = no, another exit and save and it works now.

Will upgrade the bios now to 2.10.0 again to see if it still works after the update. I think its just some bug in the bios version 2.10.0 itself so the options / buttons dont really change any setting in the background or something like that. I'll post one more if the update creates no issues. Just wanted to post quick before I forget it ,p

updated to 2.10.0 and it still works, I'll just never go into the menu again to change anything and play some BF6 now ;)

Thats btw. the boot menu tool that I meant. its F8 or F12 during the startup, not sure which one cause I spammed both. Once in there I was just able to select the exe file that I had on a usb stick, it takes like 5 minutes then with 1 or 2 restarts to downgrade the bios. I guess you can also just execute the installer in windows tho.

@rkansy could you contact me to fix this same issue?, my discord is "fairhvn." Since DELL won't help with their 'customer support.'
