Aurora ACT1250, noisy

Hi, my Alienware Aurora ACT1250 has started to make a buzz/hum noise from somewhere in the case.

Remote Tech support have been helpful but we’re not really anywhere near diagnosing cause and sorting the issue.

On site tech support hasn’t been very good. I’ve had notifications less than 24 hours, eg 6pm for the following day which turned out to be a no show. I’ve had one call out which was a simple no show. I contacted them at the last moment on the day to confirm they were still coming and received an apology. The next did attend and didn’t diagnose or fix the problem (couldn’t hear the noise but others present could). Replacing psu made it louder. Now we are at the stage where I can have it returned but while im confident they’ll try their best, I don’t think they’ll fix it.

I’d like a replacement as it’s too new to have issues that are cause unknown and therefore you cant estimate how long to fix it. How do I contact UK Technical Support?

Update: I don't need Tech Support for this as I already have it and remote support has been very good.  I  want someone from customer services to get in touch to discuss the non-technical issues about this case.  

If anyone does know the cause and can help then please let me know.

The Dell Get Help Now chat team is only for in warranty technical support issues.

To discuss non-technical support issues, you will need to start a new thread on the Customer Care board. The Customer Care DELL-Cares team handles all non-technical support issues, complaints, Dell policy, etc.
