Aurora ACT1250, get a thermal pad for installing a new M.2 SSD hard drive?
So my Alienware Aurora ACT1250 has an extra slot for an M.2 SSD hard drive. I bought one and I saw that I need to have a thermal pad in place before installing and using the M.2 SSD hard drive. So I am wondering where I can get one and which one to get so that I can have more space on my PC? Thanks in advance for your help.

If the SSD is inside a metal enclosure, it will not need a thermal pad.

@Vanadiel Like a heatsink? If so which is the best one to get?
I have an M.2 SSD drive which did not come with a heatsink. A 4 TB one

Most of Dell systems use 5mm thermal pad for M.2 solid state drives. Here is the thermal pad that should work with your ACT1250. See picture below for thermal pad application.

Air on a bare-SSD (or however they built/designed the SSD) works nice for cooling.
Air blowing on chips is still good.
