Aurora ACT1250, AWCC showing cpu fan speed is always 70%

Hello

I have had an Alienware Aurora ACT1250 for about a week now and the alien command centre always says the cpu fan is 70% or higher, it never drops under this, but the fan is almost silent so I do not think it is true. Bios and Driver and command centre are all up to date. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
