Aurora ACT1250, AWCC doesn't detect when a particular game is running

This is really strange.

AWCC auto detects all my games. They are all listed. When I launch a game, either via AWCC or directly, it knows that the game is running, changes lighting colour, logs performance, etc. However, I have one game that it doesn't seem to "know" is running, despite being listed and launching properly. I tried all my other games that are on Steam or Windows store and they all are detected properly except this one. 

I can click "launch" in AWCC and the game starts, but it doesn't change colour, log performance, or detect that the game is actually running at all. The last data it has is from two weeks ago. So, it used to work, but now does not. It's bizarre that AWCC can launch the game, but doesn't know it is running.

The game in this case is Control Ultimate Edition on Steam.

Anyone else have this happen with a single game and figure out a fix?
