Area 51 AAT2250, PCIe x4 expansion slots
Hello all. I currently have an Aurora R15 with the RTX 4090 in it. The width of the RTX 4090 precludes using any of the two PCIe x4 expansion slots on this particular motherboard because they are both covered up. I have used in a "jury rig" fashion a PCIe x4 extender cable to do what I want to but it is a kluge for sure.
I am considering purchasing the new Dell Area 51 desktop and have a question regarding the useability of the PCIe expansion slots on the motherboard: With the RTX5090 installed, are the two PCIe x4 slots on the motherboard accessible or not?
Please let me know your experience and thank you.

The new Alienware Area 51 AAT2250 has improved design on PCIe slots and users can have triple-slot graphics card without interference with the remaining two PCIe slots. See below for the motherboard view and the system view with RTX graphics card installed. Below the graphics card, the two PCIe slots on both sides of the SSD heatsink are still accessible.
