Area-51 AAT2250, getting Intel 200s Boost update?
Hi,
Intel has released a free performance boost for low latency workloads like gaming for Core Ultra 200S processors. I was wondering if this update is being worked on by Alienware for a release soon?

Hi, any updates? It's very disappointing we are not getting the latest official updates from intel.

I'd definitely like to see this reassessed considering this update could boost the performance on the single most expensive item in the Alienware line. I'd like to think that when I purchase a premium product, I'm receiving a premium experience.

I honestly doubt this will happen, going by past design decisions Dell made.

I recently got an EBT2250 with an intel ultra 7 265k, and I would also like access to this intel warranty-approved boost. Why might this not be made available?

@AvaArmy Design decisions. Dell makes design decisions and sometimes they are different from retail design decisions.

Customer satisfaction is very important. When you pay high amount for something is to be able to make easy upgrade and not get stuck and need to change motherboard, psu like you are building one from scratch... Opening option in bios following certain limit that cpu can handle and not crazy overclocking should not be an issue in 2025

Disappointed by Alienware and Dells approach to say the least. We paid premium dollars for an underperforming product. I have created a post on Reddit to spread the word on the type of support practices by Alienware for any future customer. Intel engineers developed the 200S Boost profile for a reason. These CPUs simply underperform in gaming, Intel knows that, Alienware knows that. Intel did something about it several months back while Dell does nothing to address the issue! Intel warranty remains untouched by the 200S Boost profile. Pathetic Alienware.. First time customer here.. Address the issue and show us some common sense. Many of us are still within return time frames and will send our units back. You will not take advantage of customers like us, the competition is vast, and we will take our business somewhere else. We hope you care, we do.

Agree with Miami, this needs to be a priority for Dell. They finally appeal to the custom PC building market with the Area 51 desktop having standard ATX parts and then lock us out of Intel approved bios overclocks. Please add the 200s boost as an option asap.

Step your game up Alienware, you're better than this. Content creators will get a hold of this information soon.

@EVILSANTA777 Reddit post started to address this concern. There's quite a few of us who want the 200S Boost profile enabled. I will begin commenting everywhere on every video, and every post. Enough of this late to the party treatment.

@SecretMonkeyIsland I agree 💯 Several months have passed since Intels release of the 200S Boost. Is Alienware testing the profile on their rigs? Do they plan to release a new performance profile to match that of Intels 200S Boost? As a modern day consumer and first time Alienware customer I base most of my major purchases through online reviews, videos and customer feedback. I'm not the only one with this approach.. Now that I've purchased a PC from them, any future purchase through Dell will be based on my personal experience. I'm giving Alienware a chance with the hopes that they get it right.
