Alienware Pro Wireless Gaming Headset dongle audio quality worse than Bluetooth

I've noticed that audio quality through Bluetooth is somewhat higher than through radio-transmitter, but isn't it supposed to be the other way around?
When listening through dongle to let's say PS5 Menu background music or playing Elden Ring you can hear the compression and some low-frequencies breaking up, but listening through Bluetooth sounds solid and natural.
Happens on other devices too.
Is this a software issue that can be fixed or simply a radio-transmitter limitation?

@tmmy_xo There is a firmware update that was released today that finally fixes the static issue.

I have the same issue where audio quality on the dongle is worse than Bluetooth both for watching movies and in games on the PC where there's a noticeable pinging and sound distortion during quiet scenes.

@bajablast thank you for leaving a comment. Let's hope they'll see this and address in some way.

Hey I am also having this issue. When there is a quiet ambient type of sound playing I can hear some crackling static. It happens only on the 2.4g mode and is not an issue when using wired or Bluetooth.  I updated the firmware when I first got them and the updater program says my dongle is version 2.8.0 and my headset is version 3.6.1 . Hopefully there is a solution to this soon or else ill probably end up returning the headset.

@cooldude4444 yes, quiet sounds also have this crackling for me. This is my first headset with 2.4 dongle so I'm not even sure if that's how it's on other headsets too.

@cooldude4444 That's great! Where do you see the update and what version is it?

@bajablast There is a tab on the store page for the headset that says "Drivers, Manuals & Support" and then I clicked "Get Started" which brought be to the headsets support page. There is a "Drivers and Downloads" section there which should have the firmware updater tool which has the version A01-00 and release date of January 8. Hope this helps. Here is the link as well.

@cooldude4444 thank you for letting me know! To be honest I gave up on waiting for a new firmware and if not for your comment, who knows when I would check for it again.
