AW2521HF, ghosting
Claro! Aqui está a versão corrigida e traduzida para inglês, num tom direto e resumido:
Hi everyone,
I bought this monitor in 2021 and shortly after started having serious issues—ghosting, strobe-like effects, and image glitches. Dell had me run countless tests before finally replacing the monitor. But on the last day of that same year, the problem returned. I contacted them again but never received a reply.
Now, months ago, the issue came back. I’ve tested it with a PS5, PC, and MacBook using certified 2.1 cables—everything top quality, except the monitor. It's now out of warranty, and I’m considering filing a complaint through European consumer protection.
I’ve read that this firmware version causes these issues, but I can’t find any updates for it.
Can anyone help or suggest anything?
Thanks!

This AW2521HF was sold 5 years, 15 days ago on July 20, 2020 to a buyer in the UAE (United Arab Emirates). How this AW2521HF got to the Netherlands is of course unknown to me. I can only state what I see in the tool when I look up the private Service Tag number. Because the originally purchased warranty attached to that Service Tag number was in the UAE, the Dutch Civil Code does not apply.
The original contract purchased was 1 year to July 20, 2021. The forced free EURO 1 year extension applies to the original purchase date. That pushed the warranty end date to July 20, 2022. Now 3 years, 15 days later, there will not be another warranty extension.
All can see from the online AW2521HF Drivers & Downloads page, the AW2521HF was never provided with a downloadable firmware.

So, that explains why the dust in my monitor, I have pictures also. I received a refurbished monitor from Dubai!!!
There were no damages and it was working as expected for a while… so, I didn’t care much.
Well, now I believe I have a stronger case.
I just want a monitor that works as intended, nothing more.

If so, you will need to contact your seller for that.

@ejn63 yes, I know, I tried.
Can't find any email (I want everything written in a legal support); because is out of warranty can't do nothing relating the contact by my personal page.

I can only go by what I see in the Dell tools.

* Go HERE
* Insert the private Service Tag number
* Click, "Basic Support"
* You will see (minus the private data) =
In the Dell internal tool when I enter the private Service Tag number I see =

@DELL-Chris M
Thank you for the overview.
On my personal page, the original monitor had the tag ID <Your private information was removed from public view.>. It was replaced with a refurbished unit with tag ID <Your private information was removed from public view.>. What exactly Dell did or did not do, I honestly have no idea.
My question is: could you escalate this matter so I can get a clear answer or solution? Or would you recommend that I follow up on my own?
Thanks

@AndreScalaPT Removed those private numbers from public view. No, I only work this Forum. You need to continue using the emails that you have received from the support teams in your region to escalate.

Then start a new chat with Get Help Now on the right. Once past the virtual assistant, the agents will be able to see all of your past cases.
