Dockingstation WD19tb Fehler Firmware Update
Hallo Community,
ich habe seit kurzem Probleme mit meiner Dockingstation WD19TB.
Es passiert seit kurzem immer wieder, dass ich auf einmal kein Internetverbindung über LAN mehr habe und auch die am Kopfhörerausgang angeschlossene Soundboxen nicht mehr funktionieren.
Wenn ich meinen Laptop dann neu starte funktioniert alles wieder.
Ich habe heute mal versucht nach einen neuen Firmware zu schauen und tatsächlich diverse neue Versionen angezeigt bekommen. Leider ist das Update teilweise auf Fehler gelaufen und konnte trotz mehrfachen Versuchen nicht ausgeführt werden.
MST -> aktuelle Version 05.03.10 -> neue Version 05.04.06 -> Update failed
WD19 TBT Dock NVM -> aktuelle Version 40.00 -> neue Version 60.00 -> Update failed
WD19 Dock Ec -> aktuelle Version 01.00.00.00 -> neue Version 01.00.00.05 -> Update failed
Die Dockingstation ist angeschlossen an einem Dell XPS15
Wer kann mir diesbezüglich weiterhelfen wo hier das Problem liegt und wie ich dieses beheben kann ?
Über Eure Hilfe wäre ich wirklich super dankbar, da ich nicht wirklich der Crack bin und mir nicht zu helfen weiß.

I have the same problem!
All payloads are updated correctly except "WD19 TBT Dock NVM".
Same version: Actual 40.00 -> new 60.00
Have you managed to solve somehow?

Hello, unfortunately i could not solve the connection problem and i still have to restart my laptop after a certain time. I still do not know what is the exact problem and be really sad that nobody could help me to solve this issue

On my side the issue is when I shutdown my laptop and LAN cable is connected into the dock: the laptop and network work fine, but as soon as I shut down the pc, the whole network crashes (I have to unplug the network cable from the dock first and then restart the main router). During the crash, no other device can connect to the network, neither outside nor inside.
In the latest firmware released by Dell, in the release notes there is a fix of the network card when it goes into low power mode and I think this is precisely the problem and therefore probably dell has solved it, but I was not able in any way to flash the new firmware due to the error occurring exactly as you described it.
I did a lot of google research but the only thread that talks about this problem is the one you opened and so I couldn't figure out if it is a firmware update tool bug or an incompatibility between the firmware and the Intel Thunderbolt 3 controller's drivers.
If I can find a solution, I will write to you immediately hoping to solve the problem for both of us.
