Hi @vk9297 welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum. 

There is no PC system information in the opening post. 

Your prudent option is to ask colleague to create clone (copy) of their (C:) boot drive so that it can be installed into your system. Alternatively look on eBay for drive with windows operating system already installed. If you have another PC, create clone (copy) of its (C:) boot drive. 

In hindsight, a clone (copy) of your (C:) boot drive should have been created before working on your PC just in case something goes wrong, and your original drive becomes unrecoverable.
