Wacom Cintiq uses Wacom pen as if it were Dell Active Pen

Hi, my problem is as follows:

I have a cintiq 16 pro and i am using it with my dell inspiron 7570. Mostly everything works well but sometimes the cintiq "receives" the pen as if it were not the wacom pen but the dell active pen used on the computer screen. This makes working really annoying for me because the pens work differently in many ways and it gets frustrating. the only solution so for is turning as well my pc as my cintiq off and on again until its back to normal but obviously that cant be the only way. Can I maybe somehow turn off and on the sensitivity for the active pen on my pc? I feel like this issue is rather niche but i would be so grateful for any kind of tips on how to go about it. Thanks!
