Update Dell Inspiron 7706 2n1 to Windows 11

Hello. Two years ago, I tried to update the Windows 10 to Windows 11 on my Inspiron 7706 2n1. This failed dramatically, I had to send in my laptop to Dell and it was set up from scratch. Since then, I have not tried again to update to Win11. I'm always installing all Dell updates, so it should be up to date, including the BIOS. Now Windows 10 is dying and I still need to update. Does someone have an idea or a proven procedure on how to update from Win10 to Win11? Is it save? Does it work? Any feedback appreciated!
