MY DELL wont update

I am kinda frustrated... bought a 2000€ Laptop not even 2 months ago and now it doesn't work properly because of a software update, that wont work properly. And that all for 2 whole weeks already!!!

I am talking about the "MY DELL" app used for fan control and power management. Back when I could access the app, I set it to quiet in order to watch a movie in peace. Next day it tells me there is an update available but it simply does not work. I am stuck in a loop with no other option but closing the app. There is no other way to fix the issue, not even the technical support knows what to do.

Now they just tell me to "be rest assured" and wait for the next windows update. Until then I have to continue using my crippled laptop. It's like driving a muscle car with a v8 on only 2 cylinders. Totally ridiculous, especially now that I am in the foundig phase of my own business and need the laptop to work on. I am really happy with the Dell Inspiron 16 Plus, but this bums me out so much.

Anyways: Does anyone have the same issue or maybe even knows a way to fix it? I have tried almost everything including a session with the dell support where they take over my controls ...
