Inspiron 7510 problem with Veracrypt / disable UEFI

Hello, I own a brand new Dell Inspiron 7510 - all is well so far. 

I tried to encrypt my system with Veracrypt, unfortunately the system goes into a boot loop during the encryption pre-test. Bitlocker is no option. The problem is described here:

Has anyone gotten Veracrypt to work with any of the new Inspirion devices and if so, how?

Second question: Can UEFI be disabled on the device in favor of legancy mode? I can't find a setting for this in the bios.
