Inspiron 7373 Fan full speed all the time

I have a problem with my Inspiron 7373 system fan. The fan goes full speed at start up and won't stop. The system diagnostics says "fan malfunction". What can be the reason for it? I have installed the latest BIOS.

Hello,

 

Please run also the ePSA Hardware Diagnostics Tools.

 

  1. Power on the computer.
  2. As the computer boots, press the F12 key when the Dell logo is displayed.
  3. In the boot menu screen, use Up/Down arrow key to select the Diagnostics option and then press Enter.

Any error found?

 

Check also if the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework driver is up to date.
