Inspiron 5770, Akku lässt sich nicht laden

Make sure you're using an OEM Dell AC adapter.  If you are not, you need one.

The descending order of probability:

1.  The adapter is faulty.

2.  The DC input jack is faulty.

3.  The mainboard is faulty.

1 und 2 schließe ich aus, da das Netzteil funktioniert und ich mit dem Gerät arbeiten kann. Die Akku-Kapazität beträgt allerdings nur 2% und ich hätte ihn gerne aufgeladen, weil ich nicht ausschließen kann, dass der Rechner sich im Stromsparmodus befindet. Ansonsten könnte ich mit dem Defekt leben.

I rule out 1 and 2 because the power supply is working and I can work with the device. However, the battery capacity is only 2% and I would have liked to charge it because I can't rule out the possibility that the computer is in power-saving mode. Otherwise, I could live with the defect.

Neither of those is definitive -- the AC adapter can power the system even if it's not recognized.  The battery will not charge though.

Check setup (F2 at powerup).  If the AC adapter is showing unknown, the adapter or DC input jack is the usual cause.
