Dell Inspiron 5515 Ubuntu freeze in standby / sleep / hybernate mode due to fingerprint sensor incompatibility
My new Dell does not handle the standby in various Ubuntu distributions very well, I have to hard reset the whole system to boot it again, if I accidentally let it get into hybernate mode. This involves opening the backdoor and disconnecting the batteries.
I suggest its due to the on/off button which is also a fingerprint sensor. This sensor seems not to be ubuntu/linux compatible.
Is there someone who experiences this problem and has a fix? Because this is a beautiful system and I like to use it.
