Backup of Dell Inspiron 7706 2n1

Hello. I want to replace my small ssd in my 7706 2n1 by a larger ssd. The laptop has a Intel optane module. What is the procedure to create a full backup on an external ssd, install the new ssd, restore the backup on the new ssd. Do I have to switch off the intel optane function before creating a backup and switch it on after having restored the ssd content? Is there a description somewhere? Thanks for your support.
